The better regulation agenda of the European Commission, implemented in 2015, has been analysed.
The report recognized the European Commission’s success in pursuing the goals of the Better Regulation agenda and advocated further efforts in the following fields:
- Public consultations on policy
- Policy evaluations and impact assessments
- Legislation simplification
- Shared effort between the EU’s various governing bodies and the governments of Member States.
