Marta Cartabia will talk about her experiences as Judge and the first female President of the Italian Constitutional Court. The interview will focus on the steps that the Italian Constitutional Court has taken in the recent years in order to strengthen its relationships with the “the public”, such as an increased openness to the media, the procedural changes with the amicus curiae, hearings of experts, etc.
The discussion will also put these topics in context of more general themes, such as trust in institution, the role of courts and public institutions before the media, and the health of modern democracies.
