On the 18th April, two workshops on Legislative Drafting were held at the Lisbon Law School.

These workshops were organized by the research project Rules for legislative drafting in Portuguese-speaking countries/regions, developed by the Lisbon Research Centre for Public Law at the Lisbon Law School.

Professors Mauro Zamboni (Stockholms  Universitet) and Helen Xanthaki (University College of London) spoke  respectively, about “Legislative policy and effectiveness: a (small) contribution from legal theory” and “The layered approach”.

Considering the up-to-dateness of the topics, the debate with the audience was intense and long. Students, legal experts, legal drafters and researchers were among the audience.
