The Committee of Convention 108 is launching the second edition of the competition intended to reward innovative and original academic research projects helping to advance data protection reflections.

The award honours the memory of Stefano Rodotà, prominent Italian law professor and politician who championed the promotion of the right to data protection.

The selected research will be revealed on Data Protection Day (28 January 2020) and the prize-winner will have the opportunity to present his/her work at the next Plenary session of the Committee of Convention 108 to be held in Strasbourg in July 1-3, 2020.

The competition is open to researchers from all regions of the world participating in the work of the Committee of Convention 108: complete the application (create your account or log-in to your existing account) via Easychair before 18 December 2019 at midnight.
