On December 28, 2019, the ‘Jurisprudence in Legislation’ Symposium and the 14th regular meeting of the ‘Initiatives for Jurisprudential Research’ took place in Xiamen, China.
Nearly 70 scholars from over 30 universities and research institutions attended the symposium and around 20 well-known professors in the field participated as speakers.
This symposium was co-hosted by the School of Law of Xiamen University and the Centre for Legislative Studies of Xiamen University.
In October 2019, this Centre joined the International Legislative Association (IAL) as its first Chinese institutional member.
