The Rules for legislative drafting in Portuguese-speaking countries/regions, developed by Lisbon Centre for Research in Public Law is organizing a cycle of workshops on Legislative Drafting with its European consultants. The workshops will be held at the Lisbon Law School, in English.
The first workshop will take place in March 15 and will be given by Professor Dr. Sjoerd Zijlstra (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) on the topic “International standards for legislative drafting”.
The second workshop will take place in April 18. Professor Dr. Mauro Zamboni (Stockholms Universitet) and Professor Dr. Helen Xanthaki (University College of London and Copresident of the IAL) will present, respectively, the following topics: “Legislative policy and effectiveness: a (small) contribution from legal theory” and “The layered approach”.
