The LUMSA University, as part of the European Erasmus + Program and Jean Monnet activities, launched the EU Approach to Better Regulation project in September 2016, proposing a 40-hour course for students, graduates, individuals and operators active in the field of regulation , with the aim of developing knowledge about tools and techniques for effective regulation and European methodologies of regulation also on the practical side, with a one-month internship in public institutions, operators and think tanks that deal with regulation.
The course deals with the following topics:
– regulatory theories and tools;Tools for the quality of regulation (impact assessments, consultations, measurement of regulatory charges, legislative drafting rules)
– tools for the quality of regulation (impact assessments, consultations, measurement of regulatory charges, legislative drafting rules)
– contribution of cognitive science to the knowledge of individuals for the formation of effective rules and strategies of implementation. h
The course will begin on February 25, 2019.
