The International Association of Legislation will present a panel at the ICON-S Annual Conference 2026 in Dublin titled “Clarity, Drafting, Language and Translation for Better Regulation”. The panel brings together leading scholars and experts to discuss how clarity, legislative drafting, translation, and emerging technologies shape the quality, legitimacy, and effectiveness of regulation in contemporary legal systems.

The panel features presentations by Fitriani Sjarif, Efraim Kastanya, Aditya Saputro, Helen Xanthaki, Nicole Sardiello, Maria Mousmouti, Nathan Herrebosch, and João Tiago Silveira. The discussion will explore legislative communication in multilingual and transnational contexts, the challenges of legal translation, and the impact of artificial intelligence and digital tools on better regulation practices.
