A workshop on Artificial Intelligence and the Administrative State will be held in conjunction with the 17th Internacional Conference on AI and Law (ICAIL 2019) on Monday, 17 June 2019 at the University of Montréal, Québec, Canada.

The workshop will focus on the following topics:
– technological innovations intended to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative agencies and improve access to justice and delivery of services and benefits to citizens;
– risks of such technology, including the due-process, bias, and privacy concerns that can arise from automated government systems.

This workshop intends to reach practitioners, researchers, and developers at the intersection of artificial intelligence, government, administrative law, and social science.
